    Gau are amulet boxes made of precious metals, turquoise, coral, or other jewels.     This multi-cultural necklace has a center focal quatrefoil gau amulet box of intricately coiled and shaped wire and cabochon set turquoise and coral. Gold plated, gem encrusted and hung with an eclectic mix of fine beads: faceted natural turquoise teardrops, coral snake glass, red pearls, Ghana gilded textured tubes, Tibetan gemstone studded brass balls. This old gau is approximated to be 30 years old and is in very good condition. 3” wide and it opens to hold a prayer.
