A beautiful Caribbean blue stone, Apatite is aligned with the zodiac sign of Gemini. It really is believed to decrease appetite as well as enhance insight, creativity and learning. Our pendant necklace is festooned with apatite and clear quartz crystal. Hand-cut and faceted, the necklace measures 24" at its full extension. In 24K gold over brass, it has gold spacer beads and tiny star bead caps, plus a silk tassel.
This stone is fragile and very sensitive to chemicals, abrasives, heat, acids, and ammonia. Never use a steamer, hot water or ultrasonic cleaners with this gemstone. Use mild soap and room temperature tap water with a soft cloth so you do not scratch the surface or diminish its luster.
