BIRDS IN PARADISE PASHMINA

BIRDS IN PARADISE PASHMINA

Cashmere shawls are made of the wools of Himalayan goats, but Pashmina is even softer:  exclusively made from a specific breed of Himalayan mountain goat called Capra Hircus. They shed their wool in the spring; it is collected and spun into the fibers we know as pashmina.

This shawl is a gorgeous brocade of the lightest weight imaginable, in light taupe-y grey, pinks, teal, magenta and dusky violet. So soft and supple, you won't realize you're wearing it till you take it off and feel the chill. Measuring 86" long by 31" wide, it's pliable, warm, and perfect for traveling.
