TARA GAU NECKLACE
TARA GAU NECKLACE
The deity Tara, a female Buddha, is the goddess of universal compassion who represents virtuous and enlightened activity. Here she is depicted in a natural bronze version. She is believed to be the feminine embodiment of enlightenment and a manifestation of the buddha-nature that exists in all of us. Her female form represents wisdom and is called The Mother of all Buddhas.
Andrea made this Tara Gau Necklace with various shades of faceted tigers eye, multi colored pearls, textured brass and a gold plated gau which opens from the back. The stone chain measures 22" around, and the gau measures 2".
So many wonderful details to discover on this piece. A meditation all on their own, plus OM A HUNGH mantra Tibetan script on back of each beautiful box. Another amazing one of a kind!
