A variety of chalcedony, the black agate is one of the lesser-known semi-precious gemstones. It looks very similar to black onyx and the two are often mistaken for each other. The banding that occurs in agates is visible on this stone, and it has the glass finish of an agate too. In size 6.5, non-adjustable, with a simple white bronze band that graduates from 5 to 10 mm wide. It's edged with turquoise teardrop cabochons, 17 of them!
