Aside from designing clothes & jewelry, I occasionally get the itch to step outside my norms and make a another kind of statement. In this case, it concerns an immensely important issue to the health & wellbeing of this country. We (Andrea, Becky & Ed) designed & created this bumper sticker with the purpose of calling on the immense powers of KALI & KAMALA.
The Hindu goddess Kali is the ultimate expression of nature, both destructive and benevolent. She protects her people against evil by doing what others cannot. The Indian goddess Kali embodies the power of creation and destruction in one entity. She transcends good and evil.
In our vision, KALI KAMALA holds a shrunken orange menace by his hair. His red tie is tightly wound around the scales of justice. She has his sidekick JD Vance pinned firmly under her left foot. Around her neck are the skulls of those who support his ugly defiance: Rudy Giuliani, Marjorie Taylor Green, Mike Lindell, Roger Stone, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan,& Steven Bannon.
If you’ve ever traveled to India, you must know a little bit about the Hindu gods and deities: Ganesh, Shiva, Saraswati, Hanuman, Krishna, Laxmi and more. I ask you that you take the time to learn a little bit about this powerful yet benevolent deity, Kali, and the values and virtues of her actions. Through Kali, and Kamala, I wish no ill or harm upon anyone, but rather I'm attempting to express my fervent desire that she exercise her great powers in taming the beast. Through this strong iconic figure we wish to restore divine justice back into the fabric and fold of this great country.
The name KAMALA means 'lotus', in Sanskrit and Hindu culture. She is often depicted as the Goddess Laxmi, bringing wealth and fortune, rising from the flower's center. May this LOTUS become our POTUS.
My personal favorite Goddess is DURGA. She is one tough cookie seen riding a tiger or lion. She represents power, strength and protection. Kali was born out of the head of Durga, so she could slay more demons than even Durga could. When Durga gets mad, she transforms into Kali to destroy evil.
