SMOKY PLUM AJRAKH KIMONOS

Alluring Ajrakh modal silk, in gorgeous plum shades, will take your breath away! These are our beloved Button Kimono style, and they are absolutely STUNNING.  We have two kimonos to choose from with different Ajrakh prints but both in this dreamy and romantic smoky plum palette. Both kimonos are dripping in smokey plum grays,  rich, deep burgundy red, and starry night aubergine black mandalas and swirling florals.  Ajrakh is a unique form of textile printing found mostly in Sindh, Pakistan and Kutch district, India.  Ajrakh textiles have special designs and patterns.  Traditionally, the colors used are red and blue, which is why this romantic dusky plum is so special. ~ Gorgeous smokey plum and rich burgundy Anatolian tulips and vines grow across the first Sm/Med kimono. It has a 44" relaxed fit across the chest and can fit a wide range of shapes and sizes. More florals grow on the lower half of kimono in complimentary smoky plums, smokey blues & rich wine with a larger floral repeating motif on the lower portion. The solid, smoky plum silk lapel extends all the way to the hem, with a lovely side vent slit for comfort and added styling option.

~ Our second Med/Large option has the same luxurious modal silk Ajrakh in the beautiful smokey plum palette.  The upper Ajrakh print  has circular and star repeating mandalas.  The lower portion has intricate columns in the same color story but a smaller print which creates a flattering verticality to the kimono. The solid, smoky plum lapel extends all the way to the hem, with a lovely side vent slit for comfort and added styling option. It has a 48" relaxed chest measurement.

The feel of this kimono is pure lux and delight with a fabulous feel and drape.  The  lapel and cuffs are made from a soft smoky plum satin silk which adds to the high handsome quotient of this piece.  Two side pockets and a single button closure.  Wear open or closed, pair with boots or sandals, layered up or down.
