AJRAKH GEO RICH SWING COAT

The natural dyes of this geo rich Ajrakh matte silk are a testament to the glory of this exquisite textile.  Ajrakh is a unique form of textile printing found mostly in Sindh, Pakistan and Kutch district, India. Ajrakh textiles have special designs and patterns, which have been taken to new heights in this artistic pattern. Traditionally, the colors used are red and blue, sublimely illustrated in this gorgeous piece. The rich oxblood red and dove blue are subdued and blended due to the hand-block print and natural dyes, which also sets this apart and gives this unusual matte finish.  The geometric infinity box print gives a nod to the prints of M.C. Esher.  The more traditional organic geometric floral print is beautifully incorporated in the same deep red and dove blue at the shoulder, sleeve and hem.  If all the Ajrakh beauty wasn't enough, the fabulous gold metallic brocade takes this coat into another dimension.  This beautiful brocade bling is found at the cuff and hem.  Elegant and slimming black silk lapel and cuff ends.
