We are so enamored of this silver etched ring with a green "eye" agate stone. It's in size 6.5, and expertly designed. It is the men of the nomadic Tuareg tribe who do the metalwork; women often work in leather crafts. The Tuareg use traditional markings that are concise and full of symbolism. From ancient times the designs carved into their pieces had interesting meanings: triangles and diamonds symbolize protection; hashmark lines indicate the wind as it sweeps across the desert. This ring continues the eye motif in the silver setting. Fascinating and sophisticated!
