The ikat dyed fabric is a cotton rayon blend, lightweight and soft. In size L, with a 46" chest measurement. 2 side pockets and one top hook and eye closure.
Ikat is a fascinating process: the pattern is created by resist dying the threads before they're woven into fabric. Originating in Indonesia, the craft was soon adopted into India and Japan, and many other southeast Asian nations. Colorful, exotic - just the way we like it! This particular ikat hails from Uzbekistan.
