This Rajasthani red neckpiece exudes a sublime beauty. A sterling silver frame shows 2 articulated bas relief birds flanking a mogul arch. This enshrines a delicate hand painted gold floral spray within. Miniature paintings such as these are often painted with a single camel's hair brush. 5 sterling leaves dangle from this frame. Hung by 12 vintage natural red hand carved melon beads, faceted rutilated quartz, mixed metal spacers, red coral glass, finished with a twisted silver toggle closure. The necklace drop is 10.5" clasp to pendant, or 23" all around. A true one of a kind which Andrea created herself, you'll never see another. I consider this to be a midweight neckpiece.
